Michael Anastassiades established his design studio in 1994 in order to design and create his uncompromising vision. His objects and specifically lighting, whilst being adamantly minimal, have an elegance and presence that are able to be displayed in every spectrum of interior, a value that is incredibly rare. His work is fabricated by family run workshops worldwide, each artisan selected for their unique manufacturing skills and traditional use of materials and all under the exacting eye of Michael himself.
His work is so coveted that it is in the permanent collections of museums and galleries across the world, including MoMA New York, the V&A in London and the Cyprus Presidency at the European Parliament. He has also gone on to design products for some of the world’s leading companies such as B&B Italia, Cassina, Flos, Herman Miller and many more.
