E15 takes its name from the postcode in London where its first workshop was located. Started by two friends Philipp Mainzer and Farah Ebrahimi in 1995 it has built a reputation for creating furniture with a beautiful simplicity that allows the solid timbers to fully express their natural markings and characteristics. The company is now located in Germany with factories, office and showroom and a worldwide network of high-end retailers.
To this day the first two designs of the company, the Bigfoot table and the Backenzahn stool, are still in production and the company has gone on to work with and create designs by Stefan Diez, David Chipperfield and Saskia Diez as well as reissuing the beautiful classic designs of Ferdinand Kramer and Richard Herre.
